And we're gonna cover things like on boarding the quality of the output speed of generation cost of use if it's credits, if it's subscriptions, customization, ease of use, documentation, security language, support, collaboration and how you can go beyond that first prompt. So we're gonna get started with Magnific dot A I. So this is the first one and this would be a very raw review, no edits. And I'm using Pactto here to run this review. So I'm, with Pactto on the desktop. So I'm recording my screen. I have my camera here. I can go full screen, double click to go back and then as you saw here, you can pause and resume the recording so I can pause and resume. And as you go through here, you can draw things so you can describe things in a better way. Let's change the color. So it's easier and you're gonna go through this exercise tool by tool, starting with Magnific. So let's get started here. So the first thing I gotta see here is the website. So magnific dot A I see some gradients, it's moving. I really like that right off the bat. You can start interacting with this and you can say that they really focus on transforming images, right? So upscaling, transforming and it really feels like magic and you can see like in this scenario here, they are going from a very low quality, very pixelated image to a much crisper sharper image, right? And if you scroll down, you can see you can, it encourages it to hallucinate, you can calibrate the creativity, the HDR intensity anchors and really go from there and there's a ton of different settings that you can apply. I'm really curious to use this. So yeah, especially in the old days of Photoshop where in order to get to a high quality version of my image, I had to go to filter other high pass create a new layer and then all this extra stuff and overlay to get to a similar result and look at this. You never perfect because nothing was generated only was changed. Like pixels were only changing here. Pixels are being generated That's the beauty of generative A I let me accept. So they're, tracking me now. upscaling and enhancing also illustrations, not just images. I'm just trying to get a sense of the website and what's possible here. You can see illustrations, upscaling photos. Again, this is so useful, especially in this era of advertising where you have to have look at this. is very blurry and then this is sharp. This is if, the results are as it's advertised, I will be very impressed. All right. So there's a ton of examples, maybe too much examples, but this is impressive. And I really like the before and after scenario you have some fa Q. Let's see. Yeah, it's like a magic wand It, aims to be user friendly

professionals enthusiasts. OK. This is where we start to assess the first thing which is cost, right? So the cost for the pro plan is $39 a month. The premium plan is $90 a month and the business plan is 2 $99 a month and then you can try it for free for two months and you can cancel the plan at any time. There are some companies out there, they are making it hard to cancel and this is good to see who's behind. So it's a very small team, India, developers entrepreneurs and it's not, it's saying it's not perfect. Payment is secure, they cannot offer refunds, but they can give you the option to cancel the subscription at any time. All right. So I'm curious to know what transform means I know that upscaling like it's very clear, I know what that means, but I'm curious to know what transform means. So let's see how this goes. Like let's try thinking about it on boarding. Ok. I'm not even registered here in the system and I will sign in. So let me pause to use my credentials. All right. The sad thing here is that I had to pay to play right? And not very welcoming. I would love to try and just play with it first to get a sense of it and then I would start using it. OK? So let me see what we can do here. Let me get my image a little bit smaller, maybe put it somewhere else. All right. So we can I use the upscale, let's try here with some images. So I have some low quality images. Let's try this one, for example, upload. That's weird OK. So OK, let's try that again. So low quality class I select the image I want upscale like for like eight times its size optimize for let's say photography and just wanna make it sharper, make the image sharper with better colors. All right, I can play with the Scenarios engine. Let's try the sharpie engine here. 10-K in resolution. OK. So it's already giving me trouble. It's 24 times. Yes. And this is gonna cost me 70 I assume 70 credits. See tokens, they call it tokens Ok. So let me upscale and let's see how, long this will take, right? So we are tracking the time starting GP U. So let me pause and I'm tracking the time here and it's a little over a minute and it's still rotating here at starting GP U. So I don't know what's going on. I'll continue to wait, I'll pause again. Now he changed it to upscaling. So that was two minutes when he started to show this new message upscaling. So it's processing for a little over two minutes It's now upscaling. So let's pause and see what happens next. So now we're over three minutes in processing time. It's still upscaling. So let's continue to wait. All right. So now we are looking at five minutes for the processing time and let's see what's going on here. So I have the original image which was very pixelated and then I have the final image. Hm. I feel like the upscaling has to be like the original image has to be in good quality, cannot be blurry or I'm missing something. So took five minutes to process had to pay to play and it didn't work. I didn't work. Let's try a different image that has more quality. For example, this one that has good lighting this year open and in this case it's just upscale twice and I'll do like a standard I don't wanna play with it. And let's try again and I will try to automa I'm not gonna try to do pre I'll do the automatic. So as you guys saw there, this was the original image already pretty sharp. Let's see what magnific will do because for the regular scenario here, it literally didn't work. All right, let's go upscale. So it's uploading the image starting GP U.

It was technically easy to sign up. But the sad part again was that I had to pay to play and it was not cheap $39 a month for the basic plan. I know A I is very expensive. There's a ton of cost to run the model in a server, but by today's standard, that's pretty high And I was, I was expecting something a little bit faster. But yeah, compared to the to the scenarios that I saw on the home page, this is not even close to it. So I was expecting this image to be a lot sharper finding some quality, maybe the code would get better. But as the second try here, I'm trying to use a sharper image and let's see how that goes.

All right. So this second image was much better. So let's see how much bigger I did two times. Yeah, that was much better look at this. So let's see here. Yeah, this was really amazing. You can see.

Yeah, this area here was very blurry and the new image is very you can see the texture All right. So the assumption or at least the test that I ran here is that you have to have a pretty good image small enough but with sharp pixels and he moved a couple of things even change things here and there. But he kept the depth of field, which is really impressive. And yeah, I did a phenomenal job here. How can I zoom CZ?

Yeah, this is much, more impressive. So awesome job here. If you start with an image that's, big enough. So let's try. But it changed me a little bit. See like my, face is a little different too I don't know. Yeah, it's a little, you got creative and you made me a little bit different. All right Next thing let's try this new re light feature and I will use the same image just a prompt. I would say the light should come from the left and it should be let's go for a very different color pink, my strength standard re light. So I'm not gonna play too much with the scenarios here, but as you, as you can see the light is coming from the right side. So it's, like really shiny on this side. And what I'm telling you to do is to shift the lighting. So when I relight this image and have the that coming from the left So a very drastic transfer of lighting source and

I kept things as, they were, I didn't play too much as I did before. It's still starting this the, GP U. So let's stop and wait for the results. Now it's relighting the image. everything got pink even at it, this part that was not visible, which is fine because that's similar to what I was wearing. Wow. Very impressive results. I can tell you that it did what I asked but it changed me a little bit. I look like a different person here, but nonetheless, it's pretty impressive. So let's go over the onboarding pretty easy. It was fast to sign up. The only downside is that I had to pay for it. The quality of the output is pretty high but the, results based on my expectations, maybe I should spend more time creating a better prompt, play more with the tools. So the quality was amazing but not exactly to what I wanted. So it went too crazy. I think on the hallucination speed of generation, it was pretty slow compared to other models that I've tested before. In the first example, it took more than five minutes to upscale the image and it didn't do that perfectly. Cost again it's the cheapest plan is $39 a month and you have to pay if you wanna play customization. I still have to spend a lot more time playing with the settings here. The problem is every time you change something, you consume your tokens, your credits and you're gotta wait for minutes. So it's not very, efficient in the sense of if you're exploring and if you're trying to, let's say, work on a real scenario it, probably frustrates more than helps. But when things are calibrated, it might be even better documentation and support That was pretty easy to learn from the basics there. Security and privacy, I have no idea where this the bites are going to, be processed. So hopefully it's not getting used to be trained by other models. I will check the terms and conditions to see what's out there, but it's not very clear language support. I don't see any way of utilizing this in a different language. So I would say there's no language support collaboration. I don't see ways of inviting others to collaborate with me and user feedback. I don't see a way here for me to assess if this was good or bad. I can download, it can regenerate or it can delete. All right. So pretty impressive, amazing results in terms of the quality of the pixel that gets generated, but it's hallucinating, it's not cheap and it takes time for you to get the results.
